TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Marcus Hartog, Acting Librarian, Queen's College, Cork
Date21 May 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
Your College has been on our exchange list since 1888. The rule till this year has been that application must be made each time that a despatch of the "Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]" is desired. As no application was ever received from your College, nothing has hitherto been despatched; this year, however, the Council have passed a new rule that the "Transactions" are to be sent by post to those institutions which are entitled to receive them, and in future will be so sent. It is still open to you to apply for the past five years if you desire to have them,
I am, yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
