Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor George Howard Darwin, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 13 July 1894 |
Description | 'Dear Sir, We have sent you, a second time, Mr Charles Davison's paper, which was referred to you last February. We had no written report from you then, as you were ill at the time. The paper was considered at the last meeting of the Committee, but they felt that they could not act without some definite expression of opinion from yourself. Will you, therefore, kindly send a few lines in writing and return the manuscript at your early convenience? I am, yours truly, H Rix Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. |
