Description | Rix states that they have been informed by the Secretary to the General Post Office that two parcels of their publications, which were despatched to the Faculte de Medecine by pre-paid post, have been left at the Montpelier railway station undelivered, because the Secretary "was absent when it was tendered". They have also been informed that the Secretary knows of this, but has yet to claim the parcels.
Rix asks for confirmation that the Secretary intends to collect the parcels, as if not, they will be returned to the Royal Society and the name of the Faculte de Medecine removed from their list of those entitled to free copies. |
