|Title||Copy letter from Michael Foster, to Joseph Williams Lovibond, 26 St. Ann's Street, Salisbury|
|Date||18 July 1894|
At the last meeting of our Council your letter complaining of the non-return of certain essential parts of your "Tintometer" was read, and the Treasurer was authorised to pay the cost price of the missing parts. Will you kindly let me know what the cost price will be, that we may draw the cheque? I presume that if the apparatus subsequently comes to light you will be willing to refund the amount of our cheque?
I am, yours faithfully,
(signed) M Foster
