TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Joseph Prestwich
Date2 October 1886
DescriptionIn answer to Prestwich's letter, an author may have 250 copies in all, of which 100 will be supplied gratis, and for the rest he pays cost price. Of the 200 which Prestwich had, 100 are given gratis. Prestwich could have had another 50 at cost price, but no more gratis copies. Rix fears however that it is now too late to think of it, as the type is sure to have been long ago distributed.
