DescriptionRix writes as Assistant Secretary with reference to the Stevenson bequest. In the Messrs letter of 16 October [1886] they are informed that the funds in court, in Thornton versus Stevenson have become altered. In Rix's annual money statement for the auditors he has been accustomed to state the Chancery Dividend as one fourth annual interest on £85,336 Government Annuities and Bank Stock. Rix asks what amount should be used instead.
