TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr George Harley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 February 1887
DescriptionRix writes concerning the loss of Dana's 'System of Mineralogy' [1837] from the Royal Society library. They are certain it has not been borrowed by any other Fellows since Harley borrowed it, though it has been frequently asked for. Rix was obliged to report the loss of the work to the Library Committee at their recent meeting and they have desired Rix to write to ask him to have another search in his library.
