DescriptionIn answer to Rockhill's letter of 22 June [1887] Rix is instructed to explain that Rockhill's estimate was prepared for the information of a Committee, and when the Committee inspected the premises they came to the conclusion to enclose the engine room so that no engine-guard will be required. He is afraid it is useless to appeal from the decision of the Committee.
