TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld
Date7 November 1887
DescriptionRix finds that the two trees executed black on white like those in the 'Challenger' Report will cost £7-18-0. He does not think lithographs will cost more than that but this brings the whole to £25-2-0. Mr Collings thinks the trees will look very well white on black and that he could do them for £4-15-6. This would bring the total to £21-19-6, not much more than Lendenfeld's figure. Rix wonders if Lendenfeld objects to the white on black, if so Rix perhaps ought to obtain an estimate for the lithographs to see if it would be cheaper.
