TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Silvanus Phillips Thompson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 October 1894
DescriptionRix knows how busy Thompson has been with work of all kinds but it is his duty to inform him that me has been suspended in the apartments of the Royal Society for non-payment of his annual contribution, notice of which was sent in May and again in September. If the contribution is not paid by the end of this month Thompson's name will be removed from the list of the Royal Society. Encloses a form which would save him from similar worry in future [not attached].
