TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date16 October 1894
DescriptionRix assumes Foster is aware that it is not the Antarctic Committee who have to report next week, they have already reported. It is the Secretaries or President who have to report on behalf of the deputation who waited on the Admiralty. Rix has no written report to lay before Council and Rix supposes Foster will report orally.

Rix ought not to have said a formal Committee about dinner as they have to revise the list of guests. For the same reason Rix thinks the meeting for this ought to be next week if possible so as to get the invitations out in good time.
