DescriptionRix sends herewith a letter from Professor Bower [not attached], the paper Bower refers to has not yet arrived but will be sent on when it does.

The letter about the inauguration of the Quatrefages Memorial is one which Foster answered and send on to the Society to be kept. As Rix did not know what answer Foster sent he put on the agenda 'M.F. to report' but is not sure the matter need come before Council at all.

Rix is sending on Foster's letters' group two to the Astonomer Royal [Sir William Christie] and group four to Professor Armstrong.

The Treasurer [John Evans] has been in and arranged the Dinner Committee for Tuesday at 4pm.
