TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date5 November 1894
DescriptionThe 15th is vacant at present. If last years precedent if followed the 22nd must be devoted to the audit at which Foster is expected to be present.

The Dinner sub-Committee is fixed for the 21st at 4pm and the members are the President [Lord Kelvin, William Thomson] and Officers, Professor [Joseph Norman] Lockyer and [William Chandler] Roberts-Austen. Rix hopes this time will suite Foster.

Rix knows of no Committee which need meet on the 15th unless Foster wishes to have the Catalogue Index Committee or International Catalogue Committee on that date. The latter is rather a big affair to tackle at such a busy time and the former is more pressing as they are now well forward with the material and shall be ready for the classification in the early part of 1895.
