TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to William Turner Thiselton-Dyer
Date7 February 1895
DescriptionFoster is directed by the President and Council to communicate the results of prolonged consideration after full discussion with the Committee to whom the charge of the Kew Observatory is entrusted, as to the means by which the misdirection of letters et cetera, may be avoided.

A change of name would be very inconvenient. At the President and Council's request the Committee have changed the headings of their letter paper and trust this will go far to lessen the inconveniences from which Dyer suffers.
