TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Sir William Henry Flower, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 June 1895
DescriptionProfessor Harry Govier Seeley has requested the President and Council of the Society to inform Flower that he is now ready to place in the British Museum all the specimens collected by him the in east of Cape Colony. The expenses of collecting them having been in part borne by the Government Grant for Scientific Research. These specimens are figured in Seeley's paper in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' volume 185 B, pp 987-1042.

Seeley further suggests casts of the type specimens should be presented by the Trustees of the Museum to the Albany Museum, Grahamstown, and the South African Museum, Cape Town. The President and Council hope the Trustees will approve of this suggestion.
