DescriptionWith respect to Herschel's request to borrow two engraving of Sir William Herschel, Rix has laid the matter before the Treasurer [John Evans] and he says that either or both these may be borrowed provided Herschel is willing to have them framed at the Society in any cheap frame that will ensure their being protected by glass and not handled in their naked state. Asks to know Herschel's decision.
