TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 November 1895
DescriptionSir John Evans has paid by a draft upon his private account the six guineas for the manuscript translation of Sir Issac Newton's 'Principia'. Rix believes Dr Foster quoted the price as £6 to Glazebrook orally, but six guineas was the price, from which Mr Knowles has not varied.

Asks if Rix will refund the sum to Sir John Evans, Nash Mills, Hemel Hempstead. Rix incloses Knowles' stamped receipt of the same [not attached].
