TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date9 November 1895
DescriptionRix is very glad to hear that Foster is likely to be about again soon.

As Foster will have learnt, a meeting of the Coral Reef Committee is appointed for next Thursday at 4pm.

If Rix is to summon the Assistant Secretary Committee and the Government Grant Administration Committee for the 21st, Foster should let him know. For the latter Committee the Officers fixed 19th December but Rix does not know that they had any reason for putting it so late and an earlier date would be preferable.

Nothing was done in the Council about the Assistant Secretary, nor was any day fixed for the meeting of the Committee.

Incloses a proof of last Thursday's minutes [not attached] and has sent a proof to Lord Rayeligh [John William Strutt] for correction.
