Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Edward Frankland, Foreign Secretary, Royal Society |
Date | 17 February 1896 |
Description | Rix sends extracts from the Royal Society's Council Minutes relating to the history of the Joule Studentship, of which he may communicate the part marked in pencil, or they can mount that section on a supplementary sheet. The remainder is purely for Frankland's own information.
He has noticed that no definite rotation of academies is settled, and so it is a question of whether the Paris Academy comes next. Frankland's draft letter should therefore be submitted to Council before it is sent, and Rix will put it on the agenda for next Thursday with that in mind. |
