Description | Rix responds to their letter to say that the General Title and Index to the whole volume should be bound up with Part II paper copies, but not with the cloth copies. They need not be inserted loose in the cloth copies. He states that Fellows who claim their parts in cloth do not re-bind them into volumes, but they would like 125 to meet special cases.
He also explains that the Government Grant is 'quite satisfactory', and that his previous memorandum was intended as an instruction rather than a complaint, and Rix was aware their actions were in accordance with long-standing custom. |
