TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to The Direct Photo-Engraving Company, 9 Barnsbury Park, N
Date27 March 1896
DescriptionRix enquires concerning their approximate estimate of 4 March for the paper by Worthington and Cole, which amounts to 39 pounds and 10 shillings for 158 photographs to be reproduced and arranged into quarto plates, and including paper and writing titles. He asks whether they are willing to provide a specimen figure from the inclosed sheet, and then work the rest to that sample; if they require negatives to work from and if so, which to send them for the sample; whether they understand that none of the figures are to be reduced in size.

Upon receipt of a satisfactory sample, Rix will ask to know the exact estimate, and timescale for delivery.
