TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Robert William Frederick Harrison, Veloya, Woking
Date20 April 1896
DescriptionRix sends updates following the visit of Mr Street, Clerk to the Board of Works, to inspect Harrison's alterations.

He reports that the Board decline to make good the cracks in the plate glass window; they will allow the hatchway providing the wooden beam below it is not touched; in installing of a new range Harrison's men have cut away the brickwork and weakened the piers, and as a consequence the Board have ordered an addition of four and a half inches of brick which Kennedy will explain; they have ordered some alteration due to his hot water pipe being too near the woodwork.
