DescriptionThose of the books mentioned on Gilchrist's list which are contained in the library of the Society are being sent to Gilchrist's addess by Parcels Delivery Company, with one exception; the Riccioli folio.

With regards to this the Senior Secretary, who came adter Gilchrist's visit yesterdau has instructed Harrison to sau that, as this is a rare and valuable book, not in good condition, he thinks its removal from the house should be made the subject of a special application to the Council which meets next week. In the meantime it is accessible for refernce in the library.

Harrison will be much obliged if Gilchrist will acknowledge the recipt of the books sent to dau on the enclsoed memeoranum which he shall need to file [not attached]/
