DescriptionIn reply to Vines' letter of the 6th, Harrison has obtained authority from the Senior Secretary, in anticipation of the decision of Council, to accede to Vines' request for leave to make a copy of the unpublished portion of Messrs [Henry Horatiro] Dixon and [John] Joly's paper 'On the Ascent of Sap'. The making of a copy would cost about 25 shillings.
