TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Professor Charles Scott Sherrington, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date14 January 1897
DescriptionAfter Rucker telegraphed Sherrington the previous day, he communicated with Dr Michael Foster, who believes that they cannot change the arrangement that his paper is to be taken on the 21st January. Their selection of that day was in accordance with the terms of Sherrington' original letter, and the notice was sent prior to the receipt of his second letter. Rucker apologises for any inconvenience, but hopes that he can arrange to be present.

He encloses the formal notice which was to be sent to Sherrington, which would have been sent earlier had his second letter not caused some delay.
