DescriptionThe Secretaries have desired Harrison to forward the accompanying paper by Mr [Francis Cranmer] Penrose [not attached], on the orientation of Greek Temples, and to ask Darwin's opinion as chairman of the Sectional Committee for Mathematics, as to its suitability for the '[Philosophical] Transactions' and as to the desirability of publishing an abstract of it in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The abstract is promised by the author.
