TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date8 March 1897
DescriptionHarrison encloses Mr [William Turner Thiselton-] Dyer's opinion on the referee's reports for [Joseph] Reynolds Green's paper. Asks if Foster will note on Dyer's memorandum if he concurs with Dyer's decision to print the paper under Standing Order 43, and also if he concurs in the referee's and Dyer's opinion, mentioned in the last two paragraphs, being communicated to the author.

Dyer wishes to refer the acceptance of Percy Groom's paper to Professor Balfour and Mr Darwin, to whom Harrison is sending it. In the meantime Harrison supposes it cannot go down for reading.

Harrison has Foster's note regarding Professor Vine's paper and has sent the letters of Professor [Archibald] Liversidge. Harrison has heard nothing yet from Sherrington. Professor [Arthur William] Rucker refers Harrison to Foster for a decision whether Sir Edward Fry's name shall be printed among the botanists in the classified list of Fellows.
