Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edward Albert Sharpey-Schafer, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 29 April 1897 |
Description | In reply to Schafer's card, Harrison sends herewith the reports on [Thomas Gregor] Brodie and [S W F] Richardson [not attached].
The only other outstanding '[Philosophical] Transactions' paper is Dr Risien Russell's paper which has been with Professor Sherrington as first referee for two months. Harrison is writing to Sherrington again in order to get it through the hands of the second referee before the meeting of Schafer's Committee.
Suggests the third week in May as better for a meeting and notes that the calling of a meeting rests entirely at Schafer's discretion in accordance with Standing Orders. Harrison is free the 17th and 18th, and there are Council meetings on the 13th and 20th. |
