TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Gilmerton, Ventnor, Isle of Wight
Date4 January 1897
Description'Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of the 18th December, which I found here on my return on Saturday, I now have received both Capt. [Captain William de Wiveleslie] Abney's and Dr [William] Huggins's reports on the Eclipse papers, and Lord Rayleigh's report on Hopkinson & Wilson. From Prof. Thomson I have as yet nothing, but will send him a reminder tomorrow. Would you like to have these reports sent down to you to the Isle of Wight, or shall I keep them till the Committee meets? Reciprocating your good wishes for the new year.
I am, yours faithfully,
Robt Harrison
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
