TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to C S Dicken, Acting Agent-General for Queensland, 1 Victoria Street, S.W.
Date17 july 1897
DescriptionAcknowledges Dicken's letter of the 15th. The 'Challenger' Committee has not met since the date of Dicken's application for copies of the 'Challenger' report, but now that a number of similar applications are in the Committee's hands, they will be considered together and recommendations made to the Treasury upon them, so that Harrison hopes to be able to send a satisfactory reply in a very short time.

The Treasury have declined to give the Society general disposition of the remaining volumes of the report and in consequence representations of the applications in hand occasionally have to be made to the Treasury.
