TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Michael Foster, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date26 July 1897
DescriptionThe Malpighi invitation arrived this morning and has been sent on to Foster. A similar letter came addressed to the President [Lord Lister] to whom Harrison has sent it on. Mr White has handed Harrison Foster's card about 'thenanton' but Harrison fears it is too late to add to the footnote.

Queries what he should do as regards an appeal to authority during his own absence, for instance regarding technical questions arising on account of publication work. Queries if Foster proposes to have any one authority to act as referee on general questions of internal politics.

Encloses a letter and enclosure from Sir W Hely-Hutchinson which came this morning [not attached].
