TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Woodward
Date29 July 1897
DescriptionEncloses a cheque for £100 which had been voted by the Council in aid of the publication of the 'Index Animalium' and which he has been recommended to make payable to Woodward in accordance with the letter from Mr Bather of 27th.

Apologizes for the delay in replying to Woodward's letter concerning the illustrations to Dr Forsyth Major's paper. Encloses a cheque in payment of Mr Green's account for drawing and photographing the figures, made payable to 'bearer' as he is not sure if Woodward has already paid Green. Asks for a receipt.

The estimate the Royal Society obtained from Messrs West, Newman & Company included the tracing from Green's drawings, for lithographic purposes. Will keep Green's address with a view to future opportunities of using his services.

Has been under great pressure of work for the last two months and is rather run down and looking forward to getting away for his holiday.
