DescriptionMr [Walter] Gardiner has sent in a paper on the histology of plant tissue. Dr [Michael] Foster left instructions that it was to be proceeded with if not exceeding 12 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' pages and if there were no difficulties over the illustrations. Gardiner says the latter, which are yet to come, are simple diagrams. The paper will slightly exceed 12 pages.
