TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to John Burke, Owens College, Manchester
Date5 November 1897
DescriptionRucker and the Chairman of the Committee of Physics and Chemistry have carefully read the modified form of Burke's paper and agree he has largely met the requirements of the referees, but there are several points on which they must still ask for modification. Details modifications. Asks Burke to have pages with numerous corrections type written again. Should return the finished manuscript with the figures and plates.

Rucker has written to Professor [Arthur] Schuster to ask if he would consent to look through the paper before it is again sent in. Schuster agrees and it is therefore desirable that Burke consults with him as to the alterations made.
