TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Dr Thomas Lauder Brunton, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date18 June 1907
DescriptionThe enclosed letter [not attached], which should be returned, has been received from [Edward Albert Sharpey-]Schafer. Mr S Vincent's application to the Government Grant for the same purpose was deferred.

If the grant was deferred simply for lack of funds, the President and Council might be disposed to make a grant from the £500 at their disposal, but they wish to be advised by Brunton as chairman of 'G'. Council meets again on 1 July.
