TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Lieutenant Colonel W H Allsopp, Hadsor House, Droitwich
Date20 December 1897
DescriptionTrusts Allsopp will pardon the long delay in replying to his Tsete Fly enquiry. This disease is being investigated under the direction of a Committee of the Society. The Committee has not yet made any final report and the South African investigation has been interrupted by the return to military service of Surgeon-Major [David] Bruce, whose report on the disease formed the basis of the reference to the Royal Society Committee. Independent investigations into the pathology of the subject are being carried on in England under the direction of the Committee.
