Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor George Howard Darwin, Fellow of the Royal Society, Newnham College, Cambridge |
Date | 4 January 1898 |
Description | In reply to Howard's note of the 2 [January], Harrison thinks the simplest way to proceed is to send Darwin, Major [Percy Alexander] MacMahon's report on [Karl] Pearson and [Louis Napoleon George] Filon [not enclosed], which Darwin as Chairman must have ultimately seen in any case. Once read Harrison shall be glad to know how Darwin wishes to proceed.
Encloses the two referee's reports on Mr Sheppard's paper, which is now 'ripe' for the Committee [not enclosed]. |
