TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to [R T] Glazebrook, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date17 February 1898
DescriptionThe Committee of Papers made the following resolution:

'That Mr Erskine Murray's paper as altered and Lord Kelvin's appear be referred to the Sectional Committee of Physics and Chemistry with the request that they will report as to whether the changes in the paper and the arguments adduced of Lord Kelvin's modify their opinion of the Scientific merits of the paper'.

Foster and Rucker agree that Glazebrook's suggestion of sending the paper round to the [?] members of the Committee is the best. Have not received the chart from Murray but can send the papers on.

Asks if Glazebrook wishes Rucker to write a formal letter to be circulated to the Committee or if Glazebrook will base a statement on this letter.
