DescriptionBeen unable to trace anything connected with the Magnetic Observatory referred to by the Prince Consort in his letter to Sir B Brodie. Knows nothing of the matter except for a copy of a letter of the Prince contained in a letter from General Sabine to Dr Sharpey. There is nothing in the Council Minutes not the Letter Books. Returns Holmes' letter [not enclosed].
