DescriptionCosta will see from the acta of the second conference on a Catalogue of Scientific Literature, of which he encloses copies [not attached], that much has been left to a provisional International Committee. Explains why power was given to co-opt two new members to this Committee. Writes to ask for advice as to whom it would be desirable to suggest for co-option as representing Italy. Details the requirements of such a delegate.

Foster ic communicating the substance of this letter to the Italian Government through the Foreign Office but the Society would be glad of Costa's assistance. Draws attention to the article regarding languages.
