TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Major Percy Alexander MacMahon, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date28 November 1898
DescriptionDescribes the error in the printed abstract of MacMahon's paper prepared for last Thursday's meeting. Explains why he wishes MacMahon had spoken to him about it at the time. The paper having only come in on Monday it would not have been possible to get a larger quantity of mathematical printing, such as composed MacMahon's paper, set up in time for Thursday's meeting. Will speak to Professor [Arthur William] Rucker on the subject today before letting the paper go out of the house again.
