TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Forsyth, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date7 January 1899
DescriptionProfessor Rucker is out of town but Forsyth's note will be passed to him on Rucker's return. In the meantime, it has been the practice for all the Sectional Committees to reserve the decision for the rejection or non-acceptance of a paper for the whole Committee but it would depend on the purpose for which the paper is referred back to the author whether that step should be taken as an 'administrative act' or by direction of the Committee. Imagines that Professor [Arthur William] Rucker would like to have the Referees' reports before him before deciding to concur with Forsyth. Asks him to send the reports.
