TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Yves Delage, 16 Rue du Marche a Sceaux (Seine), France
Date11 April 1899
DescriptionHas been in communication with H.M. Treasury on the subject of Delage's letter and have received an explanation of the position of the affairs with regard to the grant to Delage's Laboratory of the set of the "Challenger" Reports. The Treasury were asked by the Royal Society to send copies to the Laboratory but they made a gift of a set to the University of Paris on the condition that they would be deposited in the library of the Laboratory until they had no further need. The volumes should therefore have come to Delage by now.
