Have been in correspondence with the Office of Works and have appointed a Committee consisting of A B Kempe (Treasurer) and Professor Rucker (Secretary) on behalf of the Royal Society, and Viscount Dillon (President) and Mr C H Read (Secretary) on behalf of the Society of Antiquaries to deal with the question of the encroachment.
