TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Messrs Few & Company, 19 Surrey Street, Strand, W.C.
Date28 July 1899
DescriptionThe Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] has asked Harrison to let the Messrs know that there are two matters on which they need to confer after the vacation; the winding up of the present Kew Observatory Committee, and the release to the Exectutors of the late Sir William Mackinnon.

Regarding the latter matter, Harrison received the Messrs message by Mr Rix yesterday, and this morning has received the enclosed letter [not attached] from Messrs Keen & Company. Imagines there is no occasion for Messrs Keen to report direct to the Royal Society office on the queries raised upon the schedules to the release, and gathers from the letter that the Messrs are now in possession of Messrs Keen's notes on the subject and are, or will be, communicating to Messrs Fladgate with a view to getting the points in question settled. Presumes that the draft release has now been returned to the Messrs.
