TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster [Royal Society]
Date16 January 1888
DescriptionExpresses disappointment that, upon the return of Professor Victor Alexander Haden Horsley's manuscript, the only change appears to be that he has copied a small portion in a fair hand. On the assumption that the printer may be able to read it, Rix asks if he should send it to the printer or if he should wait until Foster's visit on Thursday. Rix also refers to a mention of plates in the enclosed letter [not included], and mentions that the Royal Society needs an estimate which Horsley seems to have been forgotten.
