DescriptionResponse to an enquiry of 31 January about Royal Society publications, noting that there are 42 volumes of 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' completed, with the price from volume 7 onwards set at a guinea a volume. 'Philosophical Transactions' for 1887 are ready in paper but the Fellows will not receive their cloth copies for another week.

Rix further states that both these publications are sent to all parts of the world, often in exchange for their equivalent in return.
