TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld, Schloss Neudorf, Wildon, Steiermark
Date9 April 1888
DescriptionRefers to Lendenfeld's letter of 23 March containing additional explanation of the 505 plates required, and quotes from Rix's earlier letter which states that it will not be necessary for Werner and Winter to print more than 500 copies, due to the custom of supplying a number in excess of those ordered for contingencies. Rix believes Werner and Winter should have made it clear that they would not supply 'overs' as is usual, and it is the first time Rix has heard of charging for them. Rix will present the matter to the Treasurer at the next opportunity and let him decide if the account should be paid in full.
