TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Drake & Gorham, 2 Princes Mansions, Victoria Street, S.W.
Date28 May 1888
DescriptionNotes that the lantern will be used by Captain [William de Wiveleslie] Abney next Thursday. Rix has been told that they are due to supply carbons for it, and that the positive and negative have not yet been marked on it as promised, and asks that these and any additional tasks be completed prior to Thursday.

Also enquires as to whether there is any obstacle to Abney and Mr James operating the lantern themselves, especially given Abney's experience in such matters.
