TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Parker
Date9 July 1888
DescriptionRix would be delighted to see Parker and expresses regret that he does not live closer, but notes it is not necessary to come just about the paper.

Rix has received Dr Michael Foster's instructions to send the plates to Parker's son for an estimate. Rix must hear what Foster has said about the rejected figures before he returns them as according to convention they would be placed in the Royal Society archives. A Government Grant cheque for thirty-seven pounds and ten shillings is enclosed [not included], with a receipt for Parker to sign.
